“They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures shall be in all high places.
They shall not hunger nor thirst, neither shall the heat nor the sun smite them; for he that hath mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall he guide them.
And I will make all my mountains a way, and my highways shall be exalted.”
-1 Nephi 21:9-11
Sometimes, we need to be like cows. We need to walk around all day just grazing on revelation. You might be partial to a particular pasture one day, then have no interest in it the next.
Cows also like to lay in the sun and chew their cud. This is when they regurgitate food that hasn’t been fully digested and needs more breakdown. Sometimes you just haven’t really digested a spiritual concept fully and need to chew on it for a bit. Then you graze a bit more, and munch on that.
